Fashion is the ebb and flow

The ugly side of rapid development in any third world country is the paradigm change in the way teenagers behave. Through the wide spectrum of change, the most effective influence is through apparel.

Young women in their teeny-weeny mini-skirts to dashing leather jackets and tight fitting pants are the unmistakable fashion today.

Fashion is the ebb and flow and the contemporary fashion is getting more daring by exposing the anatomy enticing the roving eyes of the beholder to ogle at.

Has the tropical climate in Asian countries become too sultry or to blame it on vanity that the fashion of young women has become too skimpy?

The fact is that the new found freedom for women - the right to vote, the right to education and the right to dress to their choice are all part and parcel of self-expression. However to teenagers, it falls on mere exploitation on their malleability.

The Hollywood magnetism has made its way to our shores where teen-aged boys are of no exception to hop on the bandwagon of fashion, so to speak. Brand me with whatever remarks and the choice of words deem fit, but the fact remains that their #8220;unbecoming#8221; fashion has more bane than boon.

On the other hand, it is their prerogatives to don in what attires they like and to rock the boat of fashion will definitely ignite the wrath from the women!

Let me put forth my argument about middle-age mothers who still desire #8220;drooping#8221; jeans that expose their panties or even tattoos that are vividly accentuated on the top middle and above the buttock cheeks.

I must admit that it is nice to look at but the heartbeat cannot be contained. It is not about a person#8217;s libido that is untamed but the suspense on the jeans. Will it drop since it is hanging precariously by the hips and imagine the gaffe if it does!
